I hear a million horses racing
and feel the nothingness,
i close my eyes
and sink into your sweet darkness,
i glide through your air
lighter,
higher
you pull me close
yet i’m still too far
to feel your warmth
i feel a million horses racing
spurred by desire,
riding the edge of passion,
burning like fire
how clearly the memory rests within my mind -
your taste, your touch,
i remember how love feels from
the deepest point inside your body
and the pain i suffer comes from
being this far away from
the last separation of our lips.
I reach,
but the tips of my being
cannot touch you,
cannot feel you,
cannot taste you
cannot please you,
my sight fades
and i must use another
sense to clutch
you

The Passion two people feel for one another was captured wonderfully in your poem…very accurate in the feelings that overwhelm, confuse, and comfort. I love this poem
