There is a wonderful escape from the world found in the passion for and from another person.  When the only thing that matters is the love that you share, moving as one, feelings so intense that the rest of the world is forgotten.  When there are no distractions as you are in a curtain of passion and romance.  You look deep in their eyes and see your world for the moment.  You’re floating on air, surrounded by an explosion of passion and color.  Sometimes you can’t even see straight, the blurr is so wonderful and it’s the gateway to true escape, passion, and love.

“A Rose is A Rose is A Rose”

This Famous quote has set many people to thinking and analyzing over the years and I am one of them.  I have never believed it, and went as far as wanting to prove it wrong in a English Paper once, but found that I had a hard time understanding the rest of this wonderful lady’s work.

If a Rose was just a rose, there wouldn’t be a whole lot of purpose to the arts as they are.  It would eliminate many things.  I don’t think that we can ever completely take things for face value, some things are bred into us, so to speak.  Some things will always have a connotative meaning attached to them, a stigma that we can’t help, that society presses upon us.

Even what people say any more can rarely be taken for exactly what the words mean, instead we analyzeand try and figure out what game they are playing.  It’s great when you can meet an honest person, who doesn’t play games with emotions and doesn’t expect you to have to interpret their thoughts through words that mean something completely different.

So, where do you draw the line and say enough is enough and step in to fix a situation and not care about stepping on someone’s toes?…..If you see something going wrong, do you step in and try to help or do you step back and watch and let the person in charge fend for themselves?  Why do we leave people in charge when it’s obvious that they are struggling or not completely able to fulfill the duties of their position?  It seems that in our culture we do this from small jobs to large jobs…..When will it be enough, when do you step in and take over because you know you can do a better job, or even just put someone else in the position who you know is doing a better job…maybe they’re already doing most of the work, just not getting any of the credit and still having to back down from the person “in charge”.

It’s said that it takes all kinds of people to make a world….I think that’s true, whether we are looking at the whole world or just the world that you live in as a person, there are going to be different dynamics of people any time two people are put together in a small space, or have to interact in any way.  Dealing with people can get frustrating, but I don’t think it will ever change.  There will always be people around, and we will always have to deal with somebody that we don’t get along with, or at least don’t quite see eye to eye with.  Now, I try not to judge people, and just accept them for who they are….but accepting and liking are two different things.  Sometimes we have to just accept that a person is a real jerk, and leave it there…there is no use in hoping that a person will magically change, those great epiphanies seem to only happen in movies, at least in my experience.  Now, it’s great if you can make a person realize something and really open up their eyes to new experiences…but how often can that really happen…some people will argue that just change or touching one person is enough…and maybe that’s true for them…or there is the other extreme who want to change everybody and wont accept anyone who isn’t like them.  Of course there are the people who say that they don’t want to change anybody and just want to leave everyone else alone, and I wonder what causes that attitude…   I wonder if it’s because they have tried and feel like they have failed or if they really just want to be left alone, or maybe they just feel like the world is beyond help.  Why is it so hard for us, as a society, to accept people for who they are and not try to change them?
