Dreams are like time, nobody really knows what they are…or how they are made.  There are a lot of theories, but nobody really knows the truth.  I think it would be wonderful to know how to acknowledge a dream and then have control throughout it, living it as if it was real until I woke up.  I wish I had that kind of power over my dreams, but I’ve only realized I was dreaming a very few times and that caused me to wake up, except for one time that I can remember.  How wonderful would it be to have a separate reality, where anything is possible?  Where you could fly, change the background, go any place you want and try anything that may or may not be possible in the real world.

I think that it would be an amazing time to be able to dream up a world and to share that world with the people that you actually like to have around without the annoyance of the others.  You could have whatever animals around that you want, or be completely animal free if you aren’t an animal person…..anything would be possible.  Different colors everywhere, games, movies, whatever you like.

The movie Inception, perks a lot of interesting concepts about dreaming and controlling not only your own dreams, but influencing the dreams of others.  I think it would be amazing to be able to share a dream world.  To be able to create a world and invite people in, I have seen things like it with virtual worlds for online chatrooms where you design your own areas and everything, but how amazing would it be to feel like you were really there.  For everything to feel real and be a memory like a real experience would be.

Would the memory of a dream be of more or less worth than that of a real life experience?

It’s amazing how you get so caught up in certain things that you don’t know where the time goes…pieces of your life…spaces of time that just seem to disappear, sometimes when you’re caught up in the stress of things, sometimes it’s because you’re relaxing in the moment or just hanging out with the people that you care about…having fun.  Sometimes you can remember every little detail, other times you sit there and have to wonder what you did for that many hours…because it seems like only a few minutes went by.

I think it’s kind of crazy how we have let ourselves get so wrapped up in things that we spend most of our life being worried about what comes next on the schedule…where does the plan go from here?  I think that a lot more people would be happier if they just let things go as they will….

Now, I understand that you have to plan certain things out, or live in a constant state of chaos, but sometimes, the schedule should be the last thing that you are thinking about.  Sometimes living in the moment is all that matters, because those moments will be the details that you remember, and you will regret passing them by just to keep up with some imaginary time table that you made up one day over a cup of coffee…

The feeling of worry is a strange one…half the time people worry about things before they even know it’s something to worry about.  Worry can make a person concerned about an event or fact that isn’t even fact yet….Many people get partial information or the lack of contact and start working over it in their mind until every possible circumstance has gone through, scenarios that make you angry, frustrated, or just plain scared.  You hope for the best, but the best is frustrating as well.

Amazing how someone can take a tiny piece of information and blow it up into a full out story before anything actually happens.  People can worry and stress or live in denial or passiveness.  Either extreme is useless in moving through whatever is going on.

We have to find the information, get the details and then look at everything with a new perspective.  A clean look with logic will generally wipe out both extremes, doesn’t mean that what’s going on is any less important, but at least they can be looked at logically….able to push the emotions aside in order to figure out what is going on.  You can’t blow things out of proportion, just like you can’t continue to ignore their existence….Both extremes will get you nowhere productive, both extremes keep you from moving forward…

Sometimes it’s good to take a step back and look at things with a new perspective.  To go ahead and look at all of the options and possibilities.  Maybe conclusions should never be drawn until all of the facts are known, and if all of the facts can’t be known then it should serve as a reminder to never jump to conclusions.  Not to worry about things before you even know what you’re worrying about.  Sometimes stress is the natural reaction but sometimes it comes too premature.  It’s good to just take a step back and look at things logically without your emotions interfering sometimes.

Sometimes we have to accept that we will probably not ever have all of the answers, or all of the information.  There are only so many what if scenarios that we can run through our heads before we just have to jump in and go for it.  It’s good to wait sometimes but other times you just need to jump in.  The only way you can figure out what to do sometimes is to jump in and go on living, while other times you need to take a good step back and just look around for a few minutes before making that plunge.

Taking a step back has a lot of advantages because we all know that it’s easier to form opinions or give instructions when it’s not us in the actual situation.  I think very few people can remove themselves from the situation to take a look.

Time is flying

Joy, Peace, Excitement, Tears

All a part of life

It runs by you in a cloud

A haze of emotions and experiences

Life

You don’t know when it will be over

Just play as if your at the last level

Keep it moving

Don’t watch it drive by you and leave you in the dust

Sitting and waiting gets you nowhere

Worrying and Waiting is Nothing

Useless, they get you nowhere

Better to press on and through

Live life, instead of wasting time.

Can being too open minded be a bad thing?  When your thought process is fluid and you’re completely open to at least hearing new thoughts, even if you don’t take them on yourself?  Or is it what we should all strive for?  I think that one of he problems that we may run into if we are too open minded is being too easily influenced by the things that we encounter, media of all sorts for example, news reports, radio, TV, books, magazines…all of these things can influence you to the point where you adopt a pattern of thought or some outlandish idea because it is new and you want to explore it some more.  So you go on, thinking and living in the new idea and maybe even a whole mindset that you have just been introduced to, not realizing that it’s not part of your personality at all…that you might not even agree with it….I suppose that is the beauty in a fluid way of thinking, it might not be safe or fail proof, but it is intelligent and without risk we would never have discovery.  I think that the fear comes in when you lose control of how open minded you want to be….If you allow too much from the media inside the inner-workings of your brain, are you still thinking for yourself or simply absorbing all that you are introduced to , testing it, exploring it, and then discarding what doesn’t fit into your life at the time?
