It’s pretty interesting pushing people’s buttons and seeing just how far people will go or just their reactions in general. I’m not just talking about the annoyance buttons, but just to see them in different situations and seeing how they react to things like challenges, competition…everything. It great when you can get to know someone you really care about and finding something new about them. Even if you pretty well knew it was true, getting the confirmation of seeing it in action is great.
I think it’s pretty interesting how people act in different situations, even myself. When you don’t have any stress on your mind, when you’re in a fun, carefree setting, when you’re not worried about being judged, you can act completely different. You’re still being yourself, but your reactions are different, and I would think most people are more open and I know that I feel free when I don’t have to worry about those other things.
I think most people act different at work and at home, and I’ve known that for quite some time. But I think that it goes further than that, in the sense that people act different while doing different things or maybe when they go out verse staying in….I think it comes down to your comfort level with yourself. It makes sense, the more comfortable you are, the more open and free to be yourself you feel. Those few lucky people who are completely comfortable with who they are and never try to hide anything will probably act mostly the same all the time, because they don’t have anything to hide, nothing they are ashamed of, or simply don’t care what other people have to say or their thoughts. If only we could all be like that, I think we would all be happier people.
